WebITServices require an application to provide mass shipping visibility to customers. Companies such as Royal Mail, City Link, Fed Ex provide guaranteed next day or 2 day shipping delivery services. This software will help monitor all deliveries on mass and information regarding the performance of the delivery. All information can be accessed on Vendor websites such as Royal Mail, City Link etc individually so this will require access to their databases as we want the software to work on mass which they allow.
Step by Step Guide
On a daily basis the customer will upload the Tracking Number, Date of Shipment, Post Code, Weight and Price of the shipment on mass. The system should be clever enough to determine via the number range or anything else what Vendor has provided the service. Whilst uploading the data to the system, the system should be able to display all data errors before uploading.
After the customer upload on a scheduled at the specified time the system will query the Vendors at a time specified and download all the information on to the database and send automated daily reports to the customer. These will normally be done a day later. Example Customer uploads data for 01st February 2009, the system will query the Vendor database at midnight and send the report to the customer on 02nd February 2009 at 09:00 am.
The daily reports can be in the following format:-
Excel With Graphs and Various stats and breakdowns. Company Logo to be added from Company Master Data and address.
PDF PDF format of the above.
Customer can query the database at anytime using the online portal between various dates and download reports or see year to date savings

We are looking for a software provider who can basically go away and do the above. They should be able to go to all the Vendors and get the auto link to download data working.
The software provider should be able to think on there feet and if they see any gaps or additional functionality they should provide it. They should also be able to identify any problems e.g. this might not work etc or make recommendations on how it should work
The software provider should be able to provide guarantee for up to 1 year after delivery of the project on the coding and support.
Project functionality will change as this is a concept project. No charges to be made.
Initial Project Down Payment will be made 25% at begging of project and 75% after completion of project. If you do not accept please do not bid for this project.
Full Bid Proposals are required. Any Standard company emails sent will be rejected immediately.
