When you place a bid, you enter into a legal binding contract and you would be required to perform the work for the amount you have bid. If you require more information to make an accurate bid, you can use the public and private message boards.

Can I post contact information?
Allowing the direct contact between buyers and sellers other than through the message boards could allow members to bypass the BFreelancer system and in turn avoid the commission fees. Our charges are a fair price to bring software buyers and coders together. We do not allow the exchange of contact information.
